Comfort and safety on stairs
Our stain protection is an invisible, odourless, and environmentally friendly fibre protection. It forms a protective layer on the surface and helps guard against dirt and liquid exposure. Thanks to the lotus effect, liquids simply bead off the surface instead of soaking in.
The treatment is completely free from harmful substances such as fluorinated hydrocarbons and does not affect the look or feel of the material. This upgrade is available for many of our rugs, stair mats, and doormats.
Our popular anti slip fleece is a 2 mm thick layer that we permanently bond to the underside of your rug during production. Its non-slip properties ensure that your new rug stays reliably in place in indoor areas. It also helps prevent accidental tripping hazards from forming in everyday use.
The additional material further enhances walking comfort, making every step feel noticeably softer and more cushioned. Our covered rugs always come with an integrated anti slip backing as standard. Double-sided handwoven rugs are equipped with a loose anti slip underlay.
With our comfort fleece backing, you can give your stair mats an extra level of comfort and safety. As part of this upgrade, we apply a soft, slightly grippy fleece layer to the underside of your stair tread rugs during production.
The material is 2 mm thick and ensures that every step feels noticeably softer and more cushioned. At the same time, it improves grip on the stair surface for added stability in everyday use.
Please note: Stair mats should always be secured with double-sided tape. Our fleece backing is an additional enhancement, but not a replacement for proper installation.
