Older people, children and pets are particularly at risk of slipping on the smooth surface of a stair tread. Every year, this leads to many preventable injuries in the home. Our stair mats ensure a secure footing and can significantly reduce the risk of accidents.
Your new stair treads rug should be a perfect match for the style of your staircase. That’s why you can easily order free samples of our different materials to experience the look and feel with all your senses.
This means you no longer have to buy with uncertainty. See for yourself how your new stair treads rug feels and which color fits your interior best.
Your new stair treads rug are installed faster than your first coffee in the morning. It’s incredibly easy! Simply apply the included adhesive tape to a few areas on the back of your stair treads rug. For versions with an angle edge, we’ve already done this for you.
Place the individual mats loosely on the staircase and align them evenly. Remove the protective film from the adhesive tape and position each stair treads rug in place with light pressure — done!
This upgrade, featuring the popular stain protection, ensures an even tidier home environment and a more relaxed everyday life. This is an invisible and odourless fibre protection treatment. It is free from hazardous substances such as fluorocarbons. It protects your stair mats from dirt and water without altering their feel or appearance. You can easily select this upgrade when configuring your stair mats.
Do you want maximum comfort with every step? Then we recommend the upgrade with a comfort fleece backing.
We apply a non-slip comfort fleece to the back of your stair treads rug.
The additional material provides an especially soft feel underfoot, gives the stair treads rug extra stability, and ensures even better grip. It also reduces footstep noise by up to 20 dB.
Stair treads rug from hardware stores or discount retailers often look cheap, don’t fit your staircase properly, and tend to slip out of place. Improvised solutions with adhesive strips or DIY cuts usually make the situation even worse. They quickly start to look worn out and need to be replaced.
Do you really want to keep feeling frustrated, buying new stair treads rug, and installing them all over again? Choose handcrafted quality from our manufactory and enjoy every moment in your home!
Rectangular stair treads rugs create a clean separation from the rest of the staircase. They are especially popular for straight stair designs and pair perfectly with modern materials in light color tones.
We recommend rounded stair treads rug if you don’t want to cover the entire tread surface, allowing the material of your staircase to remain visible. The rounded shape creates a soft and decorative look.
With a spiral staircase, every single step has individual dimensions. To create a harmonious overall look, each tread surface should be covered with a custom-fit stair treads rug specifically adapted to its shape.

This floor covering has been classified as Efl. Floor coverings with this classification are considered normally flammable and are therefore suitable for use in residential environments.
This symbol indicates lightfastness. The floor covering is colourfast when exposed to daylight and UV radiation. Special UV blockers help prevent colours from fading when exposed to sunlight.
Rugs in Class 23 are suitable for intensive use in residential areas, such as living spaces or hallways with high levels of foot traffic. They are distinguished by exceptional durability and are designed for heavily used areas.
Floor coverings in Class 31 are designed for commercial areas with light use, such as hotel rooms or conference rooms, and for intensive use in residential settings.

To make the process easy, we’ve prepared a simple step-by-step form for you. Just fill it out and send it to our customer service team by email.
Measuring your stair treads is easier than you might think.
For stair treads in standard shapes such as rectangles or half circles, we only need the depth and width of your desired tread area.
For spiral staircases, you’ll find a dedicated form with detailed measuring instructions directly in our online shop.
Installation is done using adhesive tape.
For stair treads with an angle profile, the adhesive strip is already pre-applied by us. Once you receive the stair tread, you can simply remove the protective film and attach it directly to your stairs.
For stair treads without an angle profile, adhesive tape is not included as standard. We recommend adding it to your order for installation. The “anti-slip” upgrade can also be selected with any order and provides additional grip, but it does not replace installation with adhesive tape.
Our tip: Before installing your new stair treads, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the stairs first. Dirt and residue could reduce the adhesive strength of the tape.
Yes, they are! We recommend our comfort fleece backing for stair mats. With this, we fit the stair mats with an additional layer of non-woven fabric on the reverse side. This ensures a more comfortable feel underfoot and protects the floor surface. For products with a latex backing (e.g. sisal), the fleece also prevents stains or discolouration on your stairs. What’s more, the mat lies more securely in place thanks to its slightly adhesive coating. Our popular stain protection is also a great upgrade. This is a fibre protection treatment that safeguards your stair mats against dirt and water damage.
Good news: almost anything is possible!
In addition to classic shapes such as rectangles or half circles, we also offer fully custom shapes tailored to your requirements. This is especially perfect for spiral staircases!
