For everyday care, we recommend regular vacuuming. With a sisal rug, you can use either a flat vacuum attachment or a rotating brush, depending on your preference.
Stain removal: We recommend cleaning with a slightly damp, colourfast cloth. Always blot rather than rub to prevent the stain from being worked deeper into the fibres. For stubborn stains, we recommend using a suitable cleaning product.
Dried-on residue should first be carefully scraped away from the outside towards the centre using a spoon or a blunt knife.
Please note: Take care not to clean sisal with too much moisture. Excess water can cause water marks or lead to rippling of the material.
