For over five decades, we’ve been enhancing a wide variety of spaces with our short pile rugs.
Their unbeatable value for money, high quality, and easy-care properties make them a true bestseller. Our customers consistently share how this rug proves itself in every situation. It remains especially popular in schools and daycare settings—thanks to its exceptionally durable surface that continues to impress year after year.
For added comfort, we recommend selecting the popular upgrade with our anti-slip fleece when configuring your rug.
Our manufactory applies a slip-resistant comfort fleece to the back. The additional layer makes the rug feel noticeably softer and more comfortable underfoot. It also stays more securely in place, reducing the risk of slipping. No more shifting—just reliable stability.
Cheap rugs from DIY stores or discount retailers simply can’t compare to the quality you get here.
The short pile offers a pleasant feel and a soft, comfortable walking experience. Say goodbye to thin, scratchy rugs that lack comfort and warmth. With us, you stay in control of every detail: choose the shape, size, color, and edging of your new rug in just a few clicks.
A rug can be beneficial for people with allergies, as it traps dust on the floor rather than stirring it up with every step, as is the case with hard floors such as laminate or parquet. The fine fibre structure traps airborne particles and holds them in place until they are removed by regular vacuuming. This can have a positive effect on indoor air quality and make living more comfortable, particularly in rooms where people spend a lot of time.
This floor covering is suitable for installation over underfloor heating systems without any concerns. Heat can pass through the floor covering efficiently and without restriction. Thanks to its low thermal resistance, heat build-up is prevented, ensuring effective heat transfer.
This symbol indicates lightfastness. The floor covering is colourfast when exposed to daylight and UV radiation. Special UV blockers help prevent colours from fading when exposed to sunlight.
This floor covering helps reduce the build-up of static electricity, enhancing everyday comfort in your home. This symbol applies to residential use only. Separate criteria and symbols are used for commercial environments.
This floor covering is approved for use with chair castors in residential areas. These floor coverings are particularly suitable for home offices and offer excellent durability. Please ensure that appropriate chair castors are used.
Luxury Class 1 is the lowest level of the carpet luxury classification and represents an entry-level, functional quality. Carpets in this class are durable and hard-wearing but offer less softness and comfort than those in higher luxury classes.
This floor covering has been tested for fire performance and classified as flame retardant. Products achieving a Bfl-s1 or Cfl-s1 rating meet the requirements of the Radiant Panel Test.
Rugs in Class 22 are suitable for moderate use in residential areas with medium levels of foot traffic, such as living rooms or dining areas. They offer good durability and are ideal for moderately frequented rooms.
Short pile rugs stand out with their flat, dense structure and are especially easy to care for. They create an elegant, clean, and modern look in your home.
The “pile” refers to the fibers that stand upright on a rug. When the pile height is under around 1.5 cm, it is considered a short pile rug.
The shorter the pile, the smoother and more structured the surface appears—making it a popular choice for anyone who values a tidy, refined living space.
We always recommend planning enough space for your new short pile rug.
When placing it with furniture, leave some room on all sides (around 30–40 cm). This creates a balanced look and makes your space feel open and inviting.
Pay special attention to tables and chairs: your rug should be large enough so that chairs remain fully on it when pulled out and used. This keeps the room looking calm and cohesive—without visual clutter from shifting furniture.
Our tip: Use masking tape to mark out the dimensions of your planned rug directly on the floor. This gives you a clear sense of whether the size feels right in your space. If you’d like personal advice, feel free to reach out—our experts are happy to help and share tailored design ideas for your home.
Good news: our short pile rugs are perfect for almost any living space.
Thanks to their durable and easy-care surface, they also perform beautifully in high-traffic areas such as hallways or even on stairs.
You’ll find detailed information about the specific usage class within the product features. This helps you understand whether your chosen rug is the right fit for your project. Our high-quality materials, such as polyamide, combined with exceptional craftsmanship, ensure long-lasting durability.
You can simply select the stain protection when choosing your rug, and we’ll apply it during production. The invisible and odourless fibre protection is also free from hazardous substances, such as fluorocarbons.
Our anti-slip fleece is a practical upgrade that prevents your short pile rug from slipping on surfaces such as tiles, laminate, or parquet.
It’s a 2 mm thick fleece that is firmly attached to the back of your rug during production.
This additional layer also makes your rug slightly thicker, which enhances walking comfort. Every step feels softer and more cushioned.
Our cover rugs come with anti-slip fleece as a standard feature.
