Our custom wool rugs are made from natural sheep’s wool. In nature, this fiber protects sheep from cold, moisture, and other environmental influences. These same durable and dirt-repellent properties also benefit a wool rug in your home, making it an easy-to-maintain choice for everyday living.
The high-quality wool fibers feature a natural protective layer of lanolin, the wool’s own natural wax. This works similarly to a protective treatment and supports wool’s self-cleaning properties, making it difficult for dirt and odors to cling to the fibers. Larger particles of dirt usually remain on the surface and can be removed easily with a vacuum cleaner. As a result, our custom wool rugs are especially easy to maintain and perfectly suited for everyday use.
